Abstract

In the period August 2018 - August 2019 the number of the workforce increased from 659.04 thousand people in August 2018 to 681.45 people in August 2019. The increase in the number of the workforce was due to an increase in the number of employed people by 34 thousand in that period. The number of unemployed actually declined from 84.16 thousand people to 72.58 thousand people. The Labor Force Participation Rate has increased from 62.42 percent to 64.06 percent. The increase in TPAK is an indication of an increase in labor supply
